Facebook groups, my friend! They are my secret sauce for getting crazy traffic to this little blog. I’m in over 100 groups, no kidding! I love, love, love groups on Facebook. They are on just about any topic. They have a great sense of community and you learn so much.
Some of the groups I’m in:
Groups are awesome and I’m in groups for vegans, local garages sales, local homes for rent/sale, blogging, ecommerce business, online marketing, and much more! I’m totally addicted to them, if you can’t tell. They are a great source of traffic.
How I Use Facebook Groups for traffic?
I participate in threads daily, for engagement and follows. Some examples of engagement threads:
- Facebook post like for like
- Stumble for stumble
Examples of follow threads:
- Bloglovin followers
- Pinterest followers
- Instagram followers
I only do a handful of threads daily (they can take some time) but if you did 10+ threads daily, you could get some major traffic to your site.
Pro Tip: Outsource Facebook group participation to your virtual assistant.
Growing my groups to over 100 took some serious time. I’m talking years! You can head over to search on Facebook and type in keywords but there are SO MANY GROUPS and many of them don’t have keywords in the name or description. That’s why you need a tool to help you locate groups based on description, name, etc.
This is where Facegroupie comes in!
